[wptabcontent]
Hopewell Township surrounds Hopewell Borough and is a 60-square mile rural area of rolling hills, villages, historic landmarks, parks, forests, rivers and farmland.

The Township offers respite from more heavily populated central Jersey areas that attracts major corporations including AT&T, Jansen and Mobil Research and most recently Merrill Lynch. There were a variety of reasons behind Merrill Lynch’s selection of Hopewell Township for its largest office park construction project to date. Hopewell’s proximity to I-95 and Route 1 makes it a central location between New York and Philadelphia.

Housing in Hopewell is varied, ranging from townhouses to Cape Cods, ranches, colonials and more expensive custom homes.

Adjacent to Hopewell Township is Washington Crossing State Park, an 850-acre national landmark. There are many other park areas in Hopewell including the Stony Brook-Millstone watershed, which offers eight miles of nature trails and fishing.

Among the activities are trips to various sites of interest (i.e. Baltimore Inner Harbor, Radio City Holiday Spectacular, Mystic Seaport) and programs such as Safari Teen Travel Camp, Arts in the Park. In addition to this, the Recreation Department has established a junior wrestling league, held teen karaoke night and a Senior Prom (for seniors).

Hopewell Township is a town that has caught the attention of families and corporations alike and as a result is a wonderful place to relocate, as housing is relatively inexpensive, and job opportunities abound with the many varied types of companies building in Hopewell.
